After a paint by Astrid M. Sollid |
| The river has given the farm both its name and natural beauty. And it is in
these surroundings by the riverside we, Bjørg and Frode Pedersen, live. Ognes is a working
farm with dairy- and meat production, which will always be our main occupation. |
| |
The
paint
show spring temper year 2000, with rest of snow at Grønliheia. Halvgåtthaugen
raise behind the farm, wich is rest of a volcano
from Silur-period. |
| Waterlevel in
the river Ogna is much variable, but hear it is as
we love it. |
|
|
The farm buildings,
the 200-year-old storehouse, the original refurbished farmhouse and
the main farmhouse stand in a courtyard surrounded by grand old birch trees.
|
| |
| The farm Ognes is situated in 100 acres, of which 50 acres are farmed. |
| |
| And it is in this setting everyone is happily welcomed by the dog
Snaer,
an Icelandic sheepdog which always runs freely on the farm. |
